Dallas Children's Museum of Natural Science & History

We are spending the weekend in Dallas visiting Gigi & Grandpa. On Saturday, Gigi took us to a children's museum at Fair Park. We all had TONS of fun!
Our first and favorite stop was the 'farm'. Tyler had fun playing around the cow. The cow had utters so you could 'milk' her, but she was...out of order.

Ainsley took one of the burlap bags and started to collect veggies. Easter was great practice for this activity.
Tyler joined her. He didn't collect any into a bag. He thought it was more fun to pick up a tomato or pumpkin and take it to the hen house.

Ah oh, Tyler got a chicken!

Here Mommy you take the chicken.

We also planted 'seeds' (aka balls of wood) into slots.

Ainsley started to get tired and so she decided to sit down with these two boys and just watched them play.
Tyler played with some older kids to plant more seeds.
Ainsley was ready to move on from the farm and went to checkout the fire truck.
Tyler could have stayed on the farm all afternoon. He threw a fit when I tryed to take him from the farm.

Poor tired Tyler....we'll go back to the farm.

We all finally left the farm and went to a room just for kids 2 and under. (It was fenced in so Gigi & Mommy could take a break from chasing Tyler around...that kid is fast!)

There was also a water play area. Tyler put on his apron so he could play in the water. You can see me trying to convince Ainsley to wear hers (behind Tyler).
Tyler's having fun in the water...Ainsley would not wear the apron.
So we moved onto the music area. Ainsley's holding a triangle.

Ainsley playing the xylophone.
Ainsley completing a puzzle at the make-up station.

Ainsley loved to play in this little kitchen. She sat down to have a meal with this little girl.
Tyler found a computer, just perfect for him.
We had a bunch of fun and hope to return with Grandpa & Daddy!
