Last night Chris and I attended the Navy Ball celebrating the 234th Birthday of the Navy. It was held at the National Naval Aviation Museum.
The decor was beautiful!
We dined with some friends from OCS currently stationed in Pensacola. (from left to right, Amy & Chris, Jon & Erin, Me & Chris)
Before I went to get my hair updo I told Ainsley that I was going to be a princess tonight...she is totally into princesses. When I got back to the house she loved my hair and clapped her hands to congratulate me in becoming a princess. She said, "Good job Mommy. You're a princess. Good job."
There was also a separate area set up for dancing, but dinner, dessert, and toasts weren't over until after 10pm, and we needed to pick up the kids, so no dancing for us, but I'm sure the floor filled up after we left as the band started their set.
