Visit to the Dallas Cowboy Stadium

On Christmas Eve, Chris & I had the oppertunity to tour the new Dallas Cowboy stadium while the kids stayed with Gigi (Chris' Mom).

Very untypical of Texas, it was snowing outside and freezing cold, so no pictures of the exterior...but it it HUGE!

The Cowboys run under this star as they head onto the field for every home game.

The stadium from just below field level...it is the biggest 'room' in the world.

With the biggest TV in the world.

And guess who helps to make sure the audio for the biggest TV & room in the world is working properly...Chris' dad, Gary...aka Grandpa. Gary gave us a special tour of his 'office'.

There are TONS of buttons!

Including some really fun buttons. The white one is for Touchdowns & the Blue is for Field Goals. They activate the fireworks, sounds, & celebrations after the scores.

This keyboard is set-up to play some of the songs used during a game, like 'We will rock you' and Cavarly.

We even got to see the Instant Replay cart that is used during the game down on the field.

View of the field, with the Cowboys practicing. (Field is painted for the Cotton Bowl game.)

We had a great morning! Go Cowboys!
