We had a wonderful Easter this year with the kids. Not only are they at a fun age to take part in all the Easter Egg Hunts, Crafts, and such, but they are also starting to understand what Easter truely means. The celebration of the day Jesus conquered sin and death by returning to Earth, just as He said.
Tyler had a 'Spring Celebration' at school. I forgot my camera, so I missed getting pictures of the kids making the crafts and doing the egg hunt, but these are the birds' nests that they made.

On Saturday we went to a local park that was hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza, with lots of egg hunts, crafts, bunnies, hay ride, and the Easter bunny. Here's Tyler giving a High Five to the Easter Bunny. (Ainsley kept her distance.)
While waiting for the egg hunt, they had sidewalk chalk to entertain the kids. This is Ainsley's bunny rabbit.
Tyler starting to write his name.
Tyler's name with a little help from mom.
Ainsley's name written all by herself.

Some eggs before the hunt began. Parent's weren't allowed onto the playground, so we had to brief the kids (especially Tyler) to get eggs first, then you can play.
Saturday afternoon we dyed our eggs.
Sunday after church and Easter lunch with my sister Mindy and her family (Uncle Ant, Addison, and Alex), we had our final egg hunt in the backyard. Our church gave away t-shirts to all that attended Easter Sunday, so Tyler & Ainsley couldn"t wait to try them on.
