Tyler - Sticky Situation
Last week I took Tyler and Ainsley to the doctors office where they recieved stickers from the Corpman (Navy nurse). Tyler wore his sticker for a while then he pulled it off of his shirt and was holding and looking at it. He started messing with his eye, itching it I guess. Next thing I know Tyler is yelling, 'Help. Help. Open.' He had rubbed the sticker across his eye lashes and glued his eye shut. I first tried to just help him open his eye with my fingers, but I needed to actually rub the glue off of his eye lashes for him to be able to open his eye. Ha!
Ainsley - Catching Butterflies
You know how the sun can shine in through the windows on sunny days and fill the room with... floating particles of dust...well Ainsley pretends they are butterflies and tries to catch them in her hands. 'I got you butterfly!' :)
Tyler - Memory Game
A few weeks ago when Gigi was visiting she brought Tyler & Ainsley a puzzle with the alphabet on it. Under the letters are pictures that begin with that letter of the alphabet. Tyler, being a wiz at puzzles & the alphabet, has no problems putting together this puzzle, but what really amazed me was when after he had completed the puzzle a few nights ago I asked him if he knew where the picture of the apple was. He immediately picked up the A, the egg..immediately picks up the E...He has memorized all the objects under the letters and can locate any of them immediately. Crazy!
Ainsley - Trapped
Last week I took Tyler & Ainsley to the Aviation Museum to play on their indoor playground. Since we are still potty training we made several trips to the bathroom. Ainsley, being the independant big girl she is, on one trip went into one of the stalls by herself and locked the door. Problem is she didn't know how to unlock the door. I tried to instruct her and then knew I would have to crawl under the door to rescue her. Thankfully a women in the bathroom offered to send her granddaughter to help Ainsley and she was saved.
