Setting the Party Scene

For a designer like me I love the details that go into a special event. Weeks ago I had sketched out the cakes & decorations that I invisioned for the party and with the HUGE help of Gigi & her dear friend Nancy, the scene was created. Take a peek at Tyler & Ainsley's party.
Pink & Green Balloons were placed on the front porch columns.

Upon entering the house guests were greeted with these signs noting the different room locations for the parties...they may be twins but that doesn't mean they have to share everything. Sippin Tea with Ainsley to the left & Veg Out with Tyler to the right.
Ainsley's Tea Party.

Pink tablecloth & pink balloons, tea party food, & Princess Tea Party music set the mood for Ainsley's party. Her menu included fruit skrews, mozzarella, basil, & tomato bites, chicken salad sandwiches, petite quiche, cheese cubes, and M&Ms.

Tyler's VeggieTales theme was all about the veggies. While VeggieTale music videos played on the TV guests could choose from a veggie platter, chips & salsa, pita & hummas, and artichoke dip with crackers.

What's a party without a party favor.

To follow theme I made mini loaves of zucchini & carrot bread and grouped it together with a bag of tea. They were yummy!!

Lots more party pics to come! However, this is the only one with Mommy and her squirmy 2 year olds!
